What does the Essential Panel cover?
The core biomarkers a clinician needs to safely start most treatments — the fastest route from a blood draw to a prescribing decision.
Is this enough to start treatment?
For most treatments, yes. Some protocols require additional markers, in which case your clinician will tell you what else is needed.
Do I need to fast?
For most panels, yes — an eight to twelve hour fast gives the most reliable glucose and lipid results. Water is fine. Your booking confirmation will tell you what applies to your panel.
How long do results take?
Most results return within a few business days of your draw. You will be notified when they are ready.
Does a panel mean I will be prescribed something?
No. A panel establishes where you are. Whether any treatment follows is a clinical decision based on your results, your symptoms and your history.
